Professional Qualifications:

To maintain the Spartan standard, all valet trash technicians must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to work part time and evening shifts
  • Pass a criminal background screening
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and walk stairs regularly
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
  • Dependable, punctual, and consistent
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Courteous communication with residents, property managers, and team members

What You’ll Be Doing:

Spartan trash technicians provide doorstep waste and recycling collection for multifamily communities. Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting bagged trash and recyclables from resident doorsteps and transporting them to on site dumpsters or compactors
  • Completing assigned routes during scheduled service windows, typically evenings Sunday through Thursday
  • Keeping breezeways, stairwells, and pickup areas clean and presentable
  • Reporting resident violations, safety concerns, or equipment issues
  • Following health and safety guidelines, including PPE when required
  • Using a mobile app to log pickups, submit photos, and report exceptions
