Professional Qualifications:
Ability to uphold the quality and professionalism expected by Spartan Trash Concierge Group, all valet trash technicians must meet the following standards:
- 18 years or older.
- No experience required.
- Ability to work part-time and/or nighttime shifts.
- Successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background screening.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., walk multiple flights of stairs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and fulfilling duties consistently.
- A strong professional work ethic, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in a courteous and respectful manner with the ability to interact professionally with residents, property managers, and fellow team members.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Spartan trash technicians are responsible for delivering high-quality doorstep waste collection services based on the following duties:
- Servicing multi-family communities retrieving bagged trash and recyclables from residents’ doorstep containers and transporting them to the on-site dumpster/compactor, ensuring completion of all scheduled routes.
- Operate within designated service windows, typically in the evenings (Sunday through Thursday / 4pm-11pm).
- Monitor and maintain clean breezeways, stairwells, and trash pickup areas to ensure community and curbside appeal.
- Document and report resident violations (e.g., oversized items, unbagged waste), safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards, including PPE usage when necessary.
- App/photo reporting using mobile app or device to log pickups, submit proof-of-service photos, and report exceptions.
